60 Moorside Road
Scope
This client had applied to Bradford Council for a two storey side extenison. The ground floor would comprise a carport/garage with living space at first floor. The client had previously had approval granted for a two storey side extension, however, the new application would reduce the setback of the extension from the principle elevation
Our Solution
Bradford Council refused the application stating that it would harm the visual amenity of the local environment, due to a terracing effect caused by the failure to retain a satisfactory gap to the boundary of the site.
With our recent success in a similar appeal at 58 Moore Avenue, we had every confidence that the level of argument we could put forward at appeal would be sufficient to overturn the decision.
